Hi, Iām Dylan.
I'm an undergraduate data science student at UC San Diego, inspired by the natural world and how we interpret it through data. My work blends science, storytelling, and computation ā from analyzing coral reef restoration plots with image analysis to exploring headline trends using machine learning.
Whether I'm coding or behind a camera, I'm drawn to patterns ā in nature, in data, and in the stories they tell. On the blog, I write about using technology for societal and environmental good.
I have a growing interest in climate-focused research and the role of data in supporting conservation efforts. This site is my digital reef: a home for projects, quiet observations, and ideas in progress.
