Hi, I’m Dylan.

I'm an undergraduate data science student at UC San Diego, inspired by the natural world and how we interpret it through data. My work blends science, storytelling, and computation — from analyzing coral reef restoration plots with image analysis to exploring headline trends using machine learning.

Whether I'm coding or behind a camera, I'm drawn to patterns — in nature, in data, and in the stories they tell. On the blog, I write about using technology for societal and environmental good.

I have a growing interest in climate-focused research and the role of data in supporting conservation efforts. This site is my digital reef: a home for projects, quiet observations, and ideas in progress.
